ATxSummit Showcase 2024 (30–31 May 2024)
24 MAY 2024
Asia Tech x Singapore (ATxSG) is
Asia’s flagship tech event organised by the Infocomm Media Development
Authority (IMDA). GovTech and Open Government Products will be participating
to showcase our efforts in anti-scam measures, digital inclusivity, supporting
an ageing population, and the digital backbone of a Smart City district.
These products exemplify GovTech’s commitment to engineering a digital
government and delivering tech for the public good.
recursive Machine Learning Site Evaluation (rMSE): With increasing digitalisation, citizens are also increasingly vulnerable
to malicious actors online. With the rise in scam cases in recent times,
GovTech seeks to keep citizens safe from possible scams through the development
of the Scam Website Classifier (rMSE). This powerful tool enables the government
to identify scam websites at scale.
Purple A11y: While we adopt a digital-first approach, we are always mindful of building
products that are inclusive and meet different needs. We want to ensure
that no one is left behind in our digital push. With this in mind, we have
developed Purple A11y, an automated testing tool which scans webpages for
potential accessibility issues and suggests potential fixes.
Health Appointment System: Singapore faces the challenges of an ageing population like many other
mature economies, with healthcare and inclusivity important concerns. OGP
developed the Health Appointment System, which allows citizens to easily
make appointments for recommended vaccinations and health screenings. This
easy-to-use tool boosts vaccination rates among citizens and empowers them
to take control of their health.
Open Digital Platform: The Open Digital Platform (ODP) integrates various district management
operations into a single smart city operating system. It facilitates Singapore’s
Smart Nation ambitions by enabling the seamless integration of sensors
and systems to gather real-time data on building functions and environmental
conditions, ultimately driving the potential to enhance citizens’ quality
of life through technology and data-driven decision-making.
